Carbon Removal Projects
Carbon offsets finance verified carbon removal projects which reduce and remove carbon from the atmosphere, such as biomass conservation or forestry projects. It takes around 50 trees a year to remove one tonne of CO2 from the atmosphere. Each certificate certificate is for one metric tonne of CO2 removed, which is enough to fill 500 fire extinguishers or 8 swimming pools, with the same weight as 400 bricks.
